I'm running the Yokohama Avid Envigor 205-60-16.  Did the nut cage mod.  Using slightly shorter fender bolts with ny-lock nuts.
Currently running the preload on the shocks at 3.  I weigh 200.  It still seems a tad stiff solo, but two up (wife is like 130) it seems just right.  Was gonna try putting preload to 2 today for solo riding but chickened out since I don't want to hit a bump and have my fender bolts rub my sidewalls...
Anybody running the same setup that is my weight that can assure me 2 is safe?  If not, I'll run 3; better safe than sorry.
Any insight would be appreciated.  Thanks guys.

You shouldn't be hitting the nuts regardless of your preload. If so they are sticking out too far.
