My birthday is next month.  Planning on getting some of them fancy LED fog lights for my bike...  Any info would be helpful...and opinions!

Thanks!

SoCal lights are still in test! Should have results soon. Time and money is always a crutch.

I like the switch kit from Honda, installs on the left lower panel where the fuel tank opener lives. Plugs in harness right next to panel. The plug for the lights is also factory installed behind the lower cowl. I rarely ride at night so I went with "BikeMP3" daytime running lights, They are cheap like me @ $130, BIG mistake, in a few thousand miles one of 4 LEDs per side is out, one on the other side is flickering. You have to silicon the plastic housing to the cowl, it came out ok but was sloppy to do. They were plug and play and very bright for daytime hi vis but quality is not there, So I'm sayin stay away from these  tickedoff There was a member selling a pair of OEM's on here for about $250, maybe he still has them?

I have to agree with Robert on this issue, The SOCALMOTOGEAR lights are very high quality and the installation is very straight forward. I have them on my bike and would not consider any other that I have seen.
That is somewhat biased due to the fact I feel like any aftermarket piece that is made for our machines should be basically plug and play with at most very minor mods.
The only mods, these lights require is the adapter from Admore lighting. That is only because when the new Valkyries were released they were the only machine on the market with all LED lighting and the method of adding electrical accessories had to be rethought. Thats good because with LED lights you use a tremendous amount less electrical energy than incandescent or halogen, plus the lights themselves have a much greater life span.
Look around for yourself but I don't think you can go wrong with these lights.

I couldn't agree more.   cooldude cooldude cooldude

If I hadn't already put on my 'do it myself' fog lights.  I would have got the SoCal ones.  Who knows, maybe I will still get them sometime when I know the harness works well.   coolsmiley

Concur with the above...I have installed the SOCAL high/low beam lights, as well as the rectangular fog light/turn signal combo on my F6B deluxe.  Very happy with the result.   cooldude cooldude cooldude

Moofner,
I received the 1st version of the harness and it did not work as planned. They are working on another version to resolve this, in the meantime I had a low speed crash and broke the head on my right humerus in 3 places. Looking to getting on the road again soon.

Almost no damage to the bike but, even the injuries I received in VN did not hurt to this degree. You realize just how much you need full rotation of your arm. Gonna try real hard not to do this again!
