Greggh here.
Just got my 110k 98 STD back from Attic Rat on Saturday.
He did his mods to an engine that i had bought and delivered to him, then swapped the motors on my 98 Std.  He also did some wire harness replacement and other fixes for me as well.
Bob aka Attic Rat, Really truly knows the ins and outs of these Valks.
I will say that he has brought new life to my fat lady and she runs better faster than she ever has!
A much smoother ride increased mileage and one heck of an increase in overall performance.
Got back to Omaha NE after a 7 hour ride and ran into a friend and his "Fast" Harley.  Got next to each other and.........  Well,  I can honestly say that my friend knows what the back side of my VALK looks like now. Grin Grin
He just simply told me that Damn thing is FAST!  What a Beast he said.
Thank you Bob for all your impeccable work and Mostly Thank you for being an Honest and great Friend!
If anyone might ever consider to get their Valk modified?
Give Attic Rat (Bob) a shout.
It will be the best choice you will ever make regarding these beautiful Fat Ladies!

That's funny, I just got back from a ride with a couple of friends that ride Harley's (CVO) they were screaming down the Hyway and I pulled up to them when we stopped they asked me if I had any throttle left, I told them I was just cruising, the look on there faces told it all.

He starts by cleaning the carbs and rebuilding them with interstate springs for a faster response. Then he mills the heads followed by a polishing and porting. He removes all the smog crap and extra performance robbing vacuum lines. Best of all that annoying clicking sound from the pair valves is gone. He rebuilt my petcock for a nominal fee along with changing the Pistons so the valves fit with the new decreased head size. There is much more that he does as part of this package that I am forgetting here.
He is meticulous to the point that he misses nothing and does many things along the way to clean up or improve fit and finish. I have fresh oil and filter, flushed and filled radiator with all new hoses, new fuel lines and so much more. He sent  pics regularly to update me on the progress and spent time educating me along the way. I have never had such a great experience having work done.
I wish that he lived closer because he has so many cool valkyries that he has built from the frame up. These are one of a kind beautiful bikes. If he lived closer I would probably stop by regularly just to see what he is up to now on a regular basis.
His prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of time, and detail.

YUP!!  I remember me and the Wife on the Valkyrie, and another couple on a Harley.  We hit a long stretch of open highway and I twisted the throttle.  We had gotten a little over 100 mph........and the Harley.........fairly quickly, disappeared behind us............

Two up with luggage,  and the Valkyrie was barely breaking a sweat yet!!!!!!!     cooldude cooldude

Thanks Gregg for the kind words. It was my pleasure to do the performance work on your bike.
