Only have the one key ? You didn't leave it in the seat lock did you ? Also don't you get a kink in your neck with your head tilted like that ?  Grin

Factory (black end) or copy?

If you had a factory key, there is a 3 digit code. With that the lock smith can punch a new key from it. I do this with all my new to me used vehicles, then using that new factory copy, get some copies made to use, keying the new one untouched.

If you were getting gas look in the top of the tank cap, you could have left the key there. If you were locking your fork the key could still be in the fork lock so check there. If the engine is running right now I would check the ingition switch cause the key will be there. Hope this helps!

I know a car dealer can make a key for you with proof of ownership. (BMW $275)
Maybe the Honda dealer can make one.

Those responses remind me of Blonde Star. If you haven't heard it yet, look it up in youtube.  2funny

Yes a Honda dealer can cut you one provided you have the 3 digit code on the lock. I bought a set of saddle bags from an IS to put on the Bee and they had no key so I took the lock out of one of the bags and it had the number on it. I have never had an ignition switch apart but would assume it also would have a code on the side of the tumbler barrel.

The ignition switch should have the key digits stamped on it and that's the most accessible option at this point. The problem was getting the correct size torx bit or torx screwdriver T25 or something to remove the torx screws on the cover. I think it's larger than T25 torx though.
