Need to put Duece risers on my I/S and know the throttle cables need rerouting.

My Std came with Duece risers and can see the route the cables make.  Do you disconnect the cables at the carbs or can you disconnect them from the handlebar controls to reroute?

Hey Steve:

I find it relatively simple to undo the grip housing and liberate the cable ends from the grip. Then you have to pull out the return cable with elbow fitting, then unscrew the pull cable elbow from the housing to completely liberate it from the housing.

if you will replace the throttle cables with standards you won't have to reroute
