Saw this on the way home, well the after effects.

The driver in my opinion should have never been behind the wheel.

When he was 16  he shot & wounded 2 officers, & never stood trial.

Now we have an Air Guard personnel dead, 2 kids with no father.

I'll shut up now,

They also reopened his old case that was suspended,
That I think has an attempted murder of a LEO.
Talked to Lori tonight and the PD is pushing for a vehicular manslaughter to be filed.

Don't think the old Judge is alive anymore, so everything will have to start from scratch,

Sounds like the DA wants to proceed with the old case, finish it & then have a 2nd trial on this little episode.

Basically to cover their butt if they stuck them together & had one trial then lost, they want him behind bars..........

How good does that look to reopen a suspended case because he was involved in a recent gas theft and a hit and run......  IF they had  prosecuted their case earlier, this young man would still be alive.  Why was the old case suspended???  Didn't he do enough damage then?  Did they feel sorry for him because he lost a leg as a result of a shoot out with police???  REopening the old case is only going to convolute the new one and he will probably get even less of a sentence than he would have if they just prosecuted the first one to begin with.    Our justice system at it's finest (no disrespect intended for the law enforcement offciers that have to do their job day in and out with these folks and nothing happens in a court room.... how they can do it is beyond me

Just my 2 cents....
