Question..  Do the various wing based engines use the same timing belts?  1000 - 1800?  I saw a conversion chart for part numbers for Valkyrie/wing timing/cam belts and it gave me them impression that one size fits all the bikes, at least the GL1100s - 1500s.  NAPA was one of the brands of belts that was on the list.  In my cars and trucks over the years I have had very good success with NAPA parts and, there is a huge NAPA warehouse close to my house so, I never have to have parts on order.  They have always been in stock.

And I think where ever you get them, as long as the number ends with 275 its a Gates belt. Remember you'll need 2.

Wooo there! The 275 is for the GL1500. I don't believe any of the other motors use the same belt.

I did my GL1100 belts, and I'm fairly sure that they are not the same as the GL1500.

I did the timing belts on my GL1000 and the GL1100.  Not much to it.  That was quite a few years ago.  The job it's self is much easier than on a Toyota simply because things are more accessible.
