You can tell how I'm going to vote ?  Shocked Hell I don't even know. The only thing I can say for sure is it won't be "The Donald". If the election were tomorrow I'd probably be voting Gary Johnson. Yeah I know everyone thinks it only a choice between Clinton and Trump. I disagree.

Ah no, actually, most folks are aware of Mr. Johnson's candidacy.   But, most folks believe that a vote for anyone other than Trump is a vote for Hilary.   Personally, I see it that way.   Mr. Johnson has no chance to do anything other than hurt Trump's chances.   Please don't confuse me with a Trump fan, I simply despise Hilary.  Wink

I agree. I've never professed my love for Hillary. From Day One, I've been feeling the Bern.....(here we go)...

She's never lit my fire, so to speak. I don't trust her corporate connections. But if my vote helps keep that buffoon Trump out of Washington, vote it will be. If I had me druthers, I'd vote for a third Obama term.... Wink Wink....and then the fight started....

My post had nothing to do with my feelings being hurt. I am not a big Trump fan either. But I am realistic enough to give a man his due. Mr. Trump is nothing, if not successful. He runs businesses you and I cant even dream about. My post was a response to the constant, incessant, negative smugness that seems to permeate everything you " contribute" to every post you participte in. And, the sad thing, is its so predictable.
And therein lies the issue Romeo. His whole campaign is based on "Look at me, I'm a hugely successful businessman " . Many of us don't consider someone who stiffs his working class subcontractors in his bankruptcies a "Good Business Man"

Yet lying to the parents of dead soldiers is a practice you seem to be OK with.   uglystupid2
Ive never said anything of the sort.

Your vote will say it.

Your vote for third party is most probably (of course can't say definite) a vote for for Clinton.   Third party doesn't have a chance this time around.  The country isn't there yet.  Also, the third party doesn't even have a candidate yet and 4 months won't be able to pull anything together that will win them the presidency.  So in reality, I know strange word reality is, only one of two will win.

My vote isn't going to the one I wanted, but I'm damn sure not going to let it go, in any way, shape, or form to a person who would lie to parents of dead soldiers just so they wouldn't have to admit a failure in her foreign policies in the wake of an upcoming election.

If I am a person that would never vote for the Donald, how does my vote for Johnson help Clinton ?

The Libertarian Party's candidate for president would respectfully disagree with that statement... Smiley

And a lot of if a 3rd party vote is really a vote for (Hillary|Donald) depends on where you are. Being in The Republic, I can pretty safely vote 3rd party without risking my state going for Hillary, just as someone in California can safely vote 3rd party and not worry that their state will go for Donald.

Now, someone in Ohio, Florida, or one of the other swing states? Yeah... they all need to bring an air sickness bag and vote for Donald just if for nothing else then to keep Hillary from being able to appoint supreme court justices and swinging the court hard left.

because there is no way in hell Johnson will win. so the 400,000 votes he gets will be thrown out. thats 400k that could have been split between Clinton and Trump. So if the canidate wins you hate you essentially voted for the person you wanted to lose.

I believe if you did a search of my posts from about 8 years ago you would find a post that said I would vote for Donald Duck before voting for Obama. The same holds true for this election and Hillary. Run down Trump and every flaw he has real or perceived and he is still head and shoulders above Hillary and her record.

Truer words never typed on this board...it's like trying to decide which STD you want to pick up next.  The only thing that tips the balance for me is the number of Supreme Court justices the next president is going to appoint- could be four, maybe more.  Clinton will appoint gun control leaning Justices, where Trump likely won't.

Either way, we're headed somewhere with the next president- and we're in the handbasket.  Might as well keep my guns.

I don't think that's a big worry.  A disfunctional Republican Senate will simply refuse to even hold confirmation hearings.
And, CNN Reports that the final straw was him trying to discredit and undermine some of Trumps family. Evidently he wanted to discredit them because they had been lobbying Trump to get rid of him.
