In 2013 our A/C went out on a Sunday afternoon in August, was only 107, somehow I found a company in the valley that came out at 5pm, said we needed a new unit, went and picked one up somewhere (Sunday evening) and was installed and working by 1am. $50 tip to that guy.

That's when you have redundancy, you have an in-wall or, say, a window unit kept in the garage in case of emergencies.

I remember reading somewhere that at some point, heat and speed on a bike, turns into a convection oven and you're the turkey. (110-15?)

Last year I did 110 while in the California high desert in July. When it went to 106 in the late afternoon we were like, "Wow, this is much better!" ???
It was strange, but 110 certainly felt hot while 106 felt tolerable.
Or maybe we had just been driven to psycho crazy by that point

A quick tip for hot weather riding...
You wouldn't think it, but wear a leather jacket (WITHOUT the liner, of course). It actually does help.
When the ambient air is above body temp, you end up with convection HEATING from the wind instead of cooling. The leather keeps the hot air, and thusly the heating, off of your skin.
