The discount stores (i.e., Walmart, Meijers) south of Indy are still pretty bare, but Gander Mountain's shelves are just about full (although the prices are substantially higher than the Walmart next door).

This seems to be a pretty good search engine: http://www.ammoengine.com/

Placed an order with Graf & Sons last Thursday and received my order on Tuesday.  There was a $4.50 "Handling and Insurance" fee per order, but free UPS ground shipping after that.  Less than sales tax (although I realize that I will need to make sure sure I pay the Indiana sales tax when I file my Indiana return next spring).

Butcher: $3.99 a pound.

Lady:  But Harrison's around the corner has them for $2.69 a pound.

Butcher:  Than why don't you just buy from Harrison's?

Lady:  Harrison's is sold out.

Butcher:  Look lady, if I was sold out I have them for $1.99.

Sad They look to be pretty much "out of stock" from what I can see.... for what I am looking for at least.

They had some cheap Blazer .357 mag last week, but I see they are sold out this week.  $17.99 for a box of 50 158gr JHP.

Hey thanks for the link.  Found 9mm at the Sportsman's Guide site for cheap.  Got 500 for $102.30 and free shipping after joining the club for $29.99.  I ended up saving $45 for joining, so a no-brainer.  In the future that membership gets me a 10% discount and other benefits.  Cool beans.  No more frustrating trips to Wally World to view their empty shelves, and it worked out to about the same price as I would have payed there for the Winchester White Box 100 value pack X5. They seem to have plenty of all ammo in stock.  sportsmansguide.com

I know buddy...sure did miss the getaway.  Thought I just needed to chill at home but, to be honest, can't really escape the stress when you hang around the area.  Lesson learned.  Hope to see you down the road.  Toying with the idea of semi-retirement...gotta crunch the numbers some more.
