your right my bike 1997 1500c real early one i bought this in october 1996 had since new

boy it been a while since i have not been riding a couple of years. my legs gave out and went or had 4 operations

my bike has 160,000 and finally need rotors

it is scary when your brakes go out on the road no more rotor to grab onto

where is eveybody shopping for a set or just the rear for now  all this china stuff on ebay it is hart to tell what is good
 
bikes is ready for another trip up north nothing better than jasper national park

You would need to know the year/model of your bike if you bought an OEM
one, I guess there's stuff you'd need to know if you bought an aftermarket
one too.

STD/Tourer - 97-99 - one kind
Interstates and all 2000+ bikes - another kind

I got a good cheap used one from a crashed bike with low
miles... Here's one from Pinwall with 45K on it - $90... mine
had less miles and was cheaper, but this one is probably good...
check out the micrometer picture, no lip...

I have a O.E.M. rear rotor that will fit 99 and up I.S. Or 2000 and up Standard or Tourer.
It looks like new.

i know about pinwall i think they had one with 100,000 miles not a good one but i will keep looking

Someone posted about a China made set he bought. It was this year, so no history yet.

I would need to research some more again, but I posted in a thread where we talked about the rear rotors from a GW. I have one from each an IS and a GW, and couldn't tell them apart.
