this is the flier that pee wee should have used in his big adventure.

The English language is funny. I thought someone was stealing your fliers.  The picture made more sense than what I was thinking.

Grin That crossed my mind when I typed the subject but didn't think anyone would put that slant on it. I forgot that you like to play with words.
Does "loose gravel" seem redundant, to you?

Not to me because hard packed gravel isn't loose.

Once it's packed hard it's  "blacktop". Smiley

It never fails to surprise me how many 'biker' bars have really loose gravel in the parking lot. It wouldn't cost that much more to get some crush and run with a little sand and dirt in it that would pack better. After a few beers having the gravel moving under you can be dangerous!

I recently came across a biker bar that was paved half with bottle caps and half with shotgun shells. Anything's better than gravel, drunk or sober.

Some would argue that....WHEN ON A BIKE......just about anything moving under those two wheels....after a few beers.....can be a bit dangerous  Cheesy   Shocked    Not gettin' on no soap box here....Lord knows I LIKE TO DRINK (or so i've been told)! (but not, while i'm on a bike.........)

But seriously, i'm also surprised how many "biker places" have loose gravel in their parking lots. Just last week...up at Indy Speedway on the CBR group ride, they took us to the Museum. They had "special" motorcycle parking. ALL THE OTHER PARKING AREAS I SAW....were paved. the motorcycle only parking......loose big gravel...with a concrete strip to put your kickstand on. but to pull in and out of the lot....loose gravel everywhere (i had to move Sherry's Rune for her, she refused to ride in the stuff).

our local motorcycle resort....29 Dreams....loose gravel parking lot. Deep gravel...on a hill no less. even i hate it going in and out. I have to be VERY careful. Owner tells me he deliberately leaves it that way....to keep folks from doing burnouts and such. Ok....but first time some biker goes down....gets him/her a GOOD lawyer, and claims to have a m/c parking lot be deep gravel is somewhat negligent............look out...........i could see a lawsuit coming?

Indian Hills, another local motorcycle resort....loose/deep gravel. i could hear some arguments on the cost factor. But....to me..........a motorcycle parking lot SHOULD NOT BE GRAVEL!!!!!!!!!!  Too many folks have issues with that stuff (even sober!).
