I thought George Washington was from Mount Vernon which was a mile from my apartment in the Bronx. Was probably 10 when I realized there was another in Virginy. After all you cant go a mile or so in these parts without seeing some sign about him sleeping everywhere.

Thought that being a race-ist (never saw it actually spelled as a kid)meant you liked to race your one speed schwinn stingray (before it was stolen outside the soda pop store on E 233 St) or a fast GTO or Vette

Now some people, even friends say to me that I slow them down

Too freakin bad if you ride too fast so if so are a raceist unless you get to ride your Valk to work

I AM RIDING MY VALK TO WORK TODAY and make my secretary wash the bike during her lunch hour. (I really need a pic of her washing my bike and not hers)

WOOOHOOO for me.

Just trying to restore some balance to the sandbox

Speaking of race-ists...

One Sunday morning I am heading out the ECP (East Coast Parkway... Singaporeans turn everything into acronyms) and a traffic police type pulls me over on his 1000 Kawa.  I pull out my license and he waves it away.

"How fast will that go?" he asks?

"90 kilometers per hour", I say (the top speed for all freeways in Singapore... 54 mph and mostly violated).

He says, "Really, how fast will it go?"

I say, "If it is in Malaysia it will go 220 kph" (125 mph)... "but in Singapore can only go 90 because you will catch me".  He laughed... and I wondered how fast he has had his police Kawa because that bike will haul ass.

come on up chromedome!  Charlie you have now driven within half an hour of my home at least 3 times without stopping  Ya'll have just got to stop doing that.

Eagle nice story, nice passenger on the bike  How old is those pics of you and your granddaughter on the interstate (just kidding)

PM or Email me if you need directions

Its  kinda breezy right now at 68 degrees in the Bronx.  Might be some would say it is gettin nippy while she is gettin all wet from the hose

Hey someone must supervise the help and make sure no dirt spots are missed.

JIML  Thanks

Gonna leave work early and ride the clean Valkyrie up to Bear Mtn before going home. Its one of those things, some days you just miss your exit and ride several hours...because you can
