Rik and I will be leaving on our little summer jaunt on July 8th to head up to Glacier National Park. Really looking forward to this ride. Hope we get some good riding weather.

Phx to Bryce Canyon UT  408 miles. Go into the park

Bryce Canyon to Provo UT 200 miles by way of highway 12, Hell's Backbone and Long canyon

Provo Ut to Jackson WY   280 miles. Gets us into Jackson early and we will have the night to spend in the town

Jackson WY to Cody WY  177 miles gives us a little time to play in Yellowstone but not a lot. Will be staying at the Irma in Cody( Buffalo Bills hotel where he recuited performers for his wild west show).

Cody WY to Bozeman MT 288 miles  We will hit Chief Joseph Hiway and Bear Tooth Pass that day along with Red Lodge.

Bozeman to Columbia Falls. 347 miles I’m planning to spend  3 nights here to go in to Glacier National park and have a relaxing time riding the Red Bus and riding the surrounding area.

Columbia Falls to Blackfoot ID 460 miles nice little ride along part of the Salmon river

Blackfoot ID to Kanab UT 497 miles . All freeway but we should get in early.

Kanab UT to Phoenix  350 miles

A little over 3000 miles give or take depending on side trips in 12 days.

Sounds like a great ride Ron, have fun. I just got back from Inzane with Dave, John and Dennis and we included a side trip to Maine. Over 7,300 miles in 19 days and we put in quite a few 600+ mile days.

...so how was it?   My trip this Summer was the PCH, but Glacier is on my radar.
