Hey Y'all...I just got back from my IBA ride. I originally wanted to do a SaddleSore 3000 but when I saw the weather forecast I thought I would do a SaddleSore 2000 but when I was actually on the trip I changed it to a SaddleSore 1000 & that's the way it ended up...A SaddleSore 1000. Started at 3:16 AM yesterday morning in Northglenn, CO & rode out to Limon, CO then down to Boise City, OK then to Amarillo, TX then to Tucumcari, NM. It rained about 70% of the way. Really heavy rain too...not your normal rain...ya know?? Got back to Northglenn at 9:59 PM last night. 1192 miles total. If I do this again next year it will be the SaddleSore 3000 but I will go in the middle of June. The Valk ran like a top as I knew it would. BEST DANG BIKE EVER MADE...Don't know why they stopped making them. It's the way Corporate America is today:::Give the people something they like then stop making it or change it. Crazy, eh? Only three months till Christmas from today...time is really sailing. That's all for now. Ride safe everyone. 1990 IBA tommy t. *** Hey Go Go Bombshall***

You freaked me out talking about snow in Colorado on one of your other threads. I was rollin' through on 26 wheels ( empty ) . I saw very little snow on the mountain tops and the radio was claimin' near record highs.

Pikes Peak and surrounding hills have a good coat of snow, although it is supposed to warm up somewhat today.
Last Monday morning about 07:00 it was snowing like a rainstorm in parts of Colorado Springs.
It did not stick except on some bridges for a short while.
Which was good as it took some drivers a bit to change into snow driving thinking mode again.

Last night I had the only scooter in the parking lot at work.
No Ironbutt am I: I in the few months that I have owned her, I have put on more miles on my Fat Lady than the guy who had her before me.
