VRCC Barbeque in Prescott.  Save the date, Saturday, October 22.  I will be keeping it simple, so burgers and chips probably.  So. Cal. will be joining us.  Details to come as we get closer.

If I promise to wear my Prescott Bash T-shirt from 2002, can I ride up and join in with my GoldWing? ???

I am guessing one will have to take their 2002 tee and change the 02 to 16. No?  Roll Eyes

Actually, it looks like the last Valkyrie T-shirt I bought was the 2004 Albuquerque Blast. It would be nice to have a new T-shirt in order to update my wardrobe.  Grin

John, do you want me to set up a sign up page, so you know how many to expect?

As a latecomer to the Valkyrie scene, I'd sure be up for it!

John,
I have a friend who would like to come, he has a GW Trike, is that allowed? I told him I would ask.

Sure, bring him along.  We will just think of him as a distant cousin, besides we need somebody to pick on for not choosing to ride a Valkyrie.

Thanks John,
I will let him know, he is somewhat sensitive about it, it is canary yellow, so try to be somewhat restrained.....

Ahem...if it's a 2001, that's not canary yellow, it's pearl hot rod yellow.  The very same formulation on the beloved '97 Valkyrie Bumblebee.   I know this only because I just went through the process of painting the OEM bags I found.  Same color.   It's a very masculine PEARL HOT ROD YELLOW.   "Canary" sounds so...meek.

Sorry DR,
He described it to me as canary yellow, I certainly did not mean to offend. Consider me schooled. I have only seen one bumblebee in my life in person, up in Minnesota, and it was spectacular, not at all meek.

Hi, I am not sure yet if I can make it but if I just show up would that be an imposition? I ride a '98 tourer if that helps my cause.  Smiley

DC - I was just messin' with you.  Telling the truth, but definitely messin'.  Absolutely no offense taken.

But, Hot Rod Yellow.  I like that.

John,
Rita can not make the BBQ, business stuff. Ed Schofield with the Hot Rod Yellow Pearl GW trike will be joining me. Just so you can calculate the guest count.

Donna and I are excited to see so many people signed up for the Barbecue.  I will put signs out on Williamson Valley Road, so watch for them.  We are 1.7 miles north of the intersection of Outer Loop Road and Williamson Valley Road (there is a Texaco Station at the intersection).  You will make a left turn from Wiliamson Valley Road onto Cielo Grande, then go strait about 400 yds, the road will turn to the left, but go strait up my gravel driveway.  Continue strait another 150 yds and you will be here.  See you soon and be hungry.
