Does anybody have a recommendation in the DFW area on where I can take my Interstate to get it checked out?  I think it needs the frame checked, some parts replaced like the engine and bag guards, cb antenna replaced, and some paint.

Baron, engine and bag guards are not difficult to replace as well as the antenna. I can help with those and I know there are others closer to you that would also.  Frame  uhmm  not so sure.

The engine guards are in pretty good shape, I thought.  Did not see any damage on the bag rails.  Did something happen to the antennas?  I had to loosen them to get them in the trailer but only saw some slight bending, which should be easy to straighten out.

I rode it a bit and it didn't seem busted up or riding sideways.  Guess it won't take much to check.

If you want to replace the engine guards, get them from pinwall and I'll come over and help when I return.  I must have missed the damage you are seeing.

Mark, PinWall will probably be at or near the cost of new engine guards, check Partszilla. $114+ for left and I think $132 for right.

I did not realize the antenna was lose so I took care of that.  The guards look a little off.  I already called my insurance company so I just need a place to take it to that they can work with.  My main concern is if the frame was damaged.  The bike is in good shape but I had to call my insurance because of my emergency room visit.

I consistently got the best prices from Bike Bandit when I was getting the parts for mine.

Best prices for OEM parts are Partzilla (orders less than $99) or Procaliber (orders over $99). No other sites even come close to their prices.

Appreciate the info  cooldude

As soon as I get word back from my insurance company I will start working on it.  Smiley

A few of us road it after the accident and it was running smooth.
