i'm up for that runestone park ride!  pick a date!

pontchartrain isn't as interesting as it sounds (IMO)  i like the atchafalaya causeway a little better, because you can pass the time looking for alligators.  either way, it's a long ribbon of highway over a huge swatch of muddy water.  makes you seriously appreciate travel in the modrun fashion.  i can't begin to imagine picking my way around the atchafalaya swamp in a covered wagon.  or worse yet, a model-t with a couple sets of 2x12s to use as makeshift bridges over the wetter spots.

Sounds good to me John.  I've been to the park, but years ago.  And, of course, Talamena Skyline Drive is right there as well.  Lots of options.

pontchartrain isn't as interesting as it sounds

I followed one of those pink cosmetic-sales cadillacs across my first time over,
I thought the whole thing was kind of surreal  Smiley

Hey John,
I can't do it on the 10th or 11th.
The 17th is the "Meet in the middle" (joint DFW/Houston) proposed date.
I could to it the 24th or 25th, or the weekend after.

Does the 24th work for anyone else?
