I pulled the ICM out of my stock I/S to test run a Dyna box I have laying around. And if I'm not mistaken, the stock ICM on an I/S should be thicker than a standard ICM... I think someone hijacked the I/S ICM. And I think I gave away all my stock spares. Thats what I get for not hording them.

don't remember if thicker or not, but the I/S ICM has a larger/wider recessed area than the std ICM.

Yes, the base is thicker but when I installed it in my Tourer, I just sprayed some alcohol in/around the sleeve it fits in and it slipped right in.
