I ordered a Digi Sync this evening. It's been years since I've synced my carb's, and that was with a home-built manometer.

*EDIT*

My Digi Sync came in. It's pretty darn slick! It took longer to hook it up than it took to sync the carbs. The starting numbers were actually closer than I thought they would be. Last time I synced them, I used my home-built manometer. And that was probably  4 or 5 years ago. (more or less)
With the Digi Sync, It didn't take long before I had it pretty close.   cooldude

Really happy with mine. It is way better than the matched dial gauges and separate digital tach I used before.

You won't regret it. Easiest synchronizer I've ever used.  cooldude

I'm more than curious to see how far off my carb's are. Is it advised to have a fan blowing on the radiator to keep things cool(er) while you're syncing? Or does it even help?

You know with the older style manometers and multiple gauges I could see needing to do that. But this thing is so efficient you will have it synced faster than you can dream. I'm not kidding with other setups I have spent a couple hours tweaking. With the DigiSync it's like 15 minutes tops. And you can get it right down to the nitty gritty accurate.  cooldude

The best out there! none better IMO.

I was using a Twin Max electronic balancer which was documented to be comparable to BMW shop $6+k unit by Motorcycle Consumer News.

Digi-sync is much, much better, the latest technology.

I love using it so much, I used it on my DR200 Thumper just to watch the numbers move.

Thanks!

You will love the Digi Sync over anything else you may have tried.  I got mine last Christmas, used it in the spring.  I was previously using a set of four gauges that I had calibrated between themselves.  I had largely given up and had BigBF do the job at Inzanes.  The Digi Sync is easy and precise...

My Brother-da prez-Digisynced my I/S. When all 6 of the carbs are working closely together as they are sposed to-well it unlocks ALL the H/P available-as it wuz MEANT to be. If this Digisync had been available in the late 60s early 70s I'm thinkin my friends gas coupe could have shaved a second-second and a half off his E Ts. Imagine a 440 6 pak after a Digisync!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

I just got one and a 5 year old could do the sync. Be sure to close off the vacuum line so fuel still comes from the tank while you adjust the carbs.
Really good solution to the problem.  Got my carbs within a 1/10" within minutes.

I set two bikes up with a manometer and then checked with a digisync. The mano gets you within an inch , the digi is within a tenth. It is so easy to use that you will look for bikes to set up.

Bon S. has a real winner with this tool.

Couldn't be more simple.  You'd swear it couldn't be that easy to sync carbs.

The only thing I don't like about the DigiSync is I don't get to use it enough! You will love it! Hopefully you have more friends nearby with multi carb machines because you will want to use your DygiSync.

The reasoning behind using a fan is to keep the engine cooling fan from activating, thus changing the idle speed slightly, while your syncing.

I always thought is was suggested in the Honda Service Manual, but couldn't find it.

Not sure when or where or by who it was suggested, but I do it every time.

Oh yeah, I love the Digi Sync. cooldude cooldude

...

I think a second purpose might be to pass air over the headers to keep them from unreasonably heating.

As mentioned above that's hardly needed with the DigiSync as you'll have those carbs synched in just a couple of minutes.
