Can anybody tell me what model numbers for the bulbs that are used on the interstate tour pack. I want to flip over to LED. I'm also going to install the rear fender tail/brake light assembly.
thanks

I am also planning on doing the same with mine.  Got the tail light from a used parts dealer here in Daytona and plan on stalling Radiantz LED panel in it.  How do you plan on getting into the trunk lights?  Are you planning on cutting out the old ones and retrofitting a new plug?  I may need your advice if you get it done.
Good Luck

I removed the light assembly from the trunk yesterday and noticed the full time parking bulb is extremly small, most likely due to not enough space inside the lens and a bigger bulb would creat too much heat possibly melting the assembly. A solution would be an LED bulb, you would get more light without the added heat. My next issue is the amount of space in the trunk cavity for a bigger bulb socket. If it can be done I'll get back with some pictures. But the bulbs are at a right angle to the assembly so a one sided LED for brake and tail light might throw off more light backwards. But again the socket opening might limit what I can put in there. I still need to find out what size the parking only bulb is.

i tried years ago to change my trunk lights to LED. found the bulbs and switched them out with no problem. so i thought.
problem was they were dimmer than the original trunk lights. mainly because the trunk lights have no reflector built into them on the back side to reflect the light.
so the LEDS got pulled back out and standard bulbs got put back in.

You are right lonerider the parking only lights have no reflectors in the housing but the tail/brake does have one. I tried some LED bulbs this evening but I feel I'm going to have to change out the socket on the parking lights to get a larger bulb in there. That means shaving and reforming the opening on the light assembly. That's could work out great or crash and burn. The option of getting another assembly could turn out costly.
