I've seen posts of fabricating risers. Would it be possible to just purchase or have new bars made that would give some of us what we are looking for? Just a couple  inches back. Then get new cables, clutch and brake lines?

What problems are you having with the stock bars?

Hubcap SC and Bescrive are the two I know of that have ventured into h-bar land. Mike going with 1500 bars and Brian making his own. Looks like a hefty project.

Another issue with bars is if you are using OEM windshield you will also need to customize brackets for it also.

Hi Guys,

I have been away the last week on a motorcycle trip all over the east coast of Canada.  We went to Quebec City, and then drove all along the south shore of the St. Lawrence river to the Gaspe region, headed to New Brunswick, and then to PEI.

As for the building of some bars.  It is not as difficult as it seems.  It only took me a few hours to cut stuff up and weld it, and I am not a welder.  I built a jig to hold the pieces metal together when I welded it up.  I curved the bars to make sure that they don't hit gas filler bezel.  I got the 1" bar curved by a local metal worker.  I have a write up done on the process.  If you need pictures just give me a shout.
