well i wanted a better sound, a better sound is on its way. any pointers

I have found a very nice set of Markt  36 inch with silencers,  for my 99 valk they are used but in mint condition, I have ordered new Honda exhaust gaskets for when I install them.
 Ok they are 36 inch mild to wild mitre cut  with silencers installed .
 ok so any pointers?  just put them on and enjoy?  I keep my stock pipes to mount to the wall in my mancave as wall art, lol

I was fortunate enough to find a really good deal on a set of Mark T's pipes, too. Mine don't have the silencers and are the five inch turn-out type with the crossover pipe. I installed them using new gaskets and started riding; no carb work. I absolutely love the pipes. Even without the silencers they aren't too loud. Very nice rumble, much better than stock (I have my unmolested originals mounted on my wall!) There is a nice seat-of-the-pants boost in performance. I almost feel guilty buying them the way I did...almost.

pipes are scheduled to arrive tomorrow , I'm almost like a young kid, I cant wait, just hope like hell they arrive in perfect shape

Well the new to me exhaust is on, and what a nice upgrade, sounds nice with the silencers in, and sounds just plain mean as hell with them out, I'm very happy. And if I didn't know any better I would say that they improved the powe
r or how the bike runs, only took around the block two times but could tell something was better.
