*********DRAGUNSLAYER SLAYS MISSOURI HWY WW*********
Okay just so you all know. I do NOT need any crap about my lines, use of public highways or speed. If I had my way I would take the highway pegs off this beast and run a few trackdays just to test its real limits.

I say take the highway pegs off since they dramatically limit ground clearance. When you can drag the mount for the pegs ( they were folded up ) without dragging a peg they are too low. In the video I never touched down in any corners. The touch down happened after this stretch of road when I was hot in a left hand turn.

Needless to say I have changed the angle of the mounts and raised them roughly 2" to hopefully eliminate this. If I really want to push the bike I will most likely take them off for a while Smiley

Well that's all kinds of helpful.

Okay here you go Robert  cooldude uglystupid2http://youtu.be/IouCHL4s37o

The video comes up as 'Private' and doesn't play. Not being a YouTuber, I'm guessing you need to change something to be able to share it publicly.

Not sure if you are being serious or not, but I do like speed for sure.  I was lucky enough to have a CBR1000RR before this bike and got to ride the racetracks for a couple years.

Barber Motorsports Park (Advanced Group)
The mic on the camera sucks so you may want to turn the volume down low.

cooldude cooldude cooldude Pretty area, do you have any concerns for deer or other critters going onto the road? When you said you wanted to make a movie and I looked at the saying below your icon I had a feeling what we would get and wasn't disappointed. Pretty smooth moves by the way and with the video cam in the case you can just barley hear the engine going through its paces in the background. Your video you get the feeling of exactly why I love these bikes. It was smooth, positive, quick at any pace and just seemed to eat up the road.  I like it thanks  cooldude

That is one thing I miss here in Florida those type of roads, you dont really have them down here.

Yeah , that was my concern , animals and  vehicles  , like tractors  pulling out onto pavement .
A kid on a sport bike  was killed aound here by a  fence line  runner on a ATV  , the ATV had just entered the high way  and the kid came around the corner going quite  fast  , no time to stop .

Thanks Robert and yes critters are a concern as well as deer. This was around high noon and they usually are not to active at that time of day. Not that it cannot happen, but more likely in early morning or late evening.

I agree as well on loving this bike. I will have to make test run to see if the adjustment of the highly pegs helps. The next road I should video of will be Hwy DD between Potosi Mo and Hwy 32 going into Bixby Mo. That will be a REAL Blast at speed.

It is a cheap GoPro knock off. I paid $125 shipped to my door when it's was on sale. Uses all the GoPro mounts as well Smiley

Swan Freestyle- looks like I need to pick up another one. They are dirt cheap now. The biggest thing that sucks about them is that the mic sucks and you get all the crappy noise. I actually have them taped over in that video.

I have a ram ball mount that is attached to a suction cup assembly then a 3" extension with another ball screwed into the bottom of the case. I will snap a picture tonight.

Okay this is a list of the parts that build my mount but it can pretty much be mounted anywhere on the bike that has a smooth surface.

LOL it is actually mounted on top of the gas tank door. I lined the edges with weather stripping to act as a dampener for vibration .

OK, I thought you might be a guy I rode with a few times, especially on the Bixby run.  I went to the track in Hallett with the group and had a blast.

Might help if you shared your real name as well. I have ridden with the MSTA for a long time. I have had a 97 Magna, 03 Honda Blackbird, 03 Valkyrie, 97 Valkyrie, 02 FZ1, 08 GL1800 Traxxionized Goldwing, 2012 CBR 1000RR and now a 2014 GL1800 Valkyrie.

Dude! cooldude  Finally got around to watching this video.  Bravo man...smooth baby smooth...good execution...controllable...very good.

I like camera work as well...the ONLY thing, well if I was to criticize anything, would be the choice of music for that ride... Com-on man like a Joe Satriani album would have went PERFECT for that spin dude!  Other then that man you wouldn't have your license for long riding like that around my parts...COPS ARE EVERYWHERE!!  And their only reason to exist is to generate income...precisely by ticketing riders like you! Man I WISH I could ride like that once in awhile...  I go 10 over...and ocassionally for a short blast up to 100mph+...but am SUPER paranoid every time I do...  It sucks living where I do...even in the country them bastards are everywhere...big time unmarked cars too..

*ucking Nazi Germany man...I hate it.

Easy now I have a German heritage LOL. My offer still stands to you. If I thought anyone would show up I would plan a group get together. I could plan us all a ride that you can only ish for. Imagin a 500 mile day where the longest straightaway is  1 mile or less.
