Fifteen years with my 2001 Valk Interstate, never down, and while doing maintenance I drop it in my garage. Damn...

So, here I am scouring the Web looking for a OEM Honda Fairing to replace it.

Questions: Will any Fairing from a  1999 thru 2001 Interstate physically fit my '01?

Thanks  for any suggestions!

Yes, the fairings on all years of the IS were the same.

How bad is it boogered up? Reason I ask It's made of A B S plastic and black A B S hardening cement is paintable and sandable. If you have the patience and time and pay attention to your angles might be better off cost wise repairing stead of replacing! That's my 2 pennies worth and most likely not worth dat much.  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Thank You to Joe, and Old!  Good to know all Fairings fit. Some parts sites refer to the VIN having either "410" or "411" in it when ordering  Fairing parts.

I'm going to try the "ABS Cement" for now. I have the Valkyrie Fairing Bra. I had  a block under the side stand to elevate the Valk a bit while flushing / bleeding the clutch master, just regular maintenance. This made it "almost vertical". Somehow, I turned to get something off the floor and I "pushed" the Valk over. Stuff happens when you least expect it. Expensive stuff. I've done it that way for years without a problem......I'll be re-thinking that procedure in the future, let me tell you!

I'm still looking for a Fairing, all Black preferred. There is a "NOS Cowl for a 2000 Interstate" on ebay, right now. no pictures. Gives part #64214-MBY-660ZA....Messages to seller asking for pictures, or at least tell me the  color of cowl, haven't been answered. Seller is only 80 miles from me, but isn't interested in "cash after inspection", at his location. Probably too good to be true...

If NOS it is more than lkkely Black. Those can still be had from Honda but they are pricey.

Man, I wish Honda still had the Black fairings, but no, none to be had of any color, or year for the Interstate, from American honda.... The seller I referenced did get back to me eventually. The Fairings (2) that he has "NOS 2000 Interstate" are the "Blue with Silver" Fairings. I received pictures of it. Even though only 80 miles from me, I have to pay first before examining it, as it " must be shipped cross-country to Tampa store". Multiple warehouses across the Country, etc". So, I'll try the ABS Hardening cemeny for now, as suggested.

Anyone looking for a "Blue with Silver Fairing":  do a search on "Valkyrie Cowl", on ebay. There are pictures now.

Hi Bighead, I called Honda Directline on Thursday, and spoke with them. Along with several other Honda parts sites. All showed Fairings on their site, but they do not have them.Apparently, not many man-hours are put into keeping accurate counts of what is in-stock and what is not. The exception was "Bike Bandit", which stated "back ordered", and did I want to be notified when the fairings were back in ?". No help from Van, or Southern Honda, amongst many others. You know, you keep hoping that some source has one sitting on a shelf, to be discovered when you call. It isn't happening. Some sites show 'NH1' Black out-of-stock, but the other Fairings were in-stock. Upon calling you find that all Fairings are NOT available. Progressive treated me very well in this matter, and I heartily recommend them.

Well sorry for the bad info I was just going by what was listed as available on the site.
In that case I would fix the one you have with Black ABS plummets glue and sand it down and have it painted or buy one of the other colored ones you found and have it painted not much choice at this point.
There is a guy that has posted Interstate parts in the classifieds give him a call. I will see if I can find the link for you.
Here is a link says he has a complete fairing not sure of color though.

Thank you, Bighead! I appreciate the link to the seller in the classifieds, as somehow I missed it. I'm waiting to hear from him now.

A big Thank You to Bighead for guiding me to the black fairing in the classifieds. I should have it soon. Not perfect, but hopefully better than my broken one. If no surprises with the fairing when it arrives, and the fact that the seller treated me fairly, I'll be happy.
