Came through Lodi, California today and that CCR song has been in my head ever since  Undecided

I'm on my way back to The Great State Of Tennessee and made it to Tehachapi , California tonight. I'm back in the mountains again and lovin' it.The truck is slow loaded in the mountains but it beats the grape vines and fruit tree's I've saw most of the day from Red Bluff to Bakersfield.Did'nt get loaded till after 2:00 (est) today I was hoping to leave California in the mirror today.

If you passed through Lodi, you went right close to where I grew up in Manteca, CA.  If you were taking I-5 you passed just west of it.

Have a safe trip, Joe.  Looking forward to seeing you again on the road.

Joe,
Wow!  That was my play ground for almost two years.  Couple great roads that would make you think of the Dragon.  Kerr River road to Lake Isabella, and the Lions' Tail coming off Hwy 58 at the base of the grade going to Tehachapi.

My first big get together with the VRCC was the 2001 Bakersfield Bash.

To bad I wasn't in Amarillo Texas right now.  I'd have a place for you to stay and your load at my new place.

Safe trip my friend.

Joe, if you're still on the road Friday or Saturday ..........we're riding with a group of bikes to St Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.  We're leaving Atlas Honda in Bristol, VA and going thru Knoxville, Nashville, and on to Memphis. We'll be on I-40 westbound, if you see us give us a honk !!!

PS...anyone that wants to ride along is welcome. No charge, just buy your gas, food, and motel. Ramada Inn in Dickson, TN gives us a special rate of about $40 a night.  Just mention GWRRA "Wings across Tennessee" to get the rate.
