You know I looked at all the pics again and I was thinking, a couple of blue and red lights on the front and saddle bags with the appropriate lettering with more red and blue lights on it and it would make an awesome police bike. I had never considered that before but they would.

Nice......... One of the first things I painted RED to accent the maroon was the strip on the outside of the head covers on each side ..... then the inside panel, inside the side pods, took a while to get the pods off. but took my time so as not to break anything, I like how the red accents mix with the maroon, and black, Maybe if I get real crazy, I will have the muffler tips powder coated RED, I painted the inside ends with high temp red, but it doesn't last more than a season. Red dragon decals on the side covers and red dragon wings on the sides of the saddle bags, think I'm done for now.....still have trouble posting pictures on this site, but can e-mail if anyone wants to see, blondie5052@gmail.com my name is Chris ride safe life is good........... |

I was a little worried of the outcome cuzz ya never know 'bout these things
It's like a new completely new ride , I love the looks ,
it really puts a smile on my face when riding ( glad I wear a helmet )
I had thought of some detail , more custom design , fancy paint job , but , I am a minimalist , simplistic with clean designs .
Showy, glittering, brassy type of custom paints is not my thing , however , I do like it on other folks bikes
Maybe , I will someday get hard bags painted the same color

I switched seats as I had my 'Kerry listed on Craigs L , did not want the man coming by to see it , thinking the custom seat goes with it , have not put it back yet . |

When my Kerry was blue , I had maybe 3 people ask me about her , that was in 4 months
Now that's she is white , I had 3 people today ask about her.
I am not into the attention of that kind , but , I have to believe when riding I am getting noticed a lot more ,too , in the hopes of being seen and safer .

I like the white too. But in eyeballing these bikes, it seems to me that having painted-to-match-the-bike-color side covers looks better and more finished than the the OE or chrome side covers. |

I have added many RED accents to my bike and the latest and probably the last is the smaller covers just below and in front of the side covers are now red.... not the same as the bike, but to match the front fins, dragons on the side covers and red vynal I put on top of the bags and the rear pad and the dragon wings I put on the sides of the bags, painted insdes over the radiators and to protect the driving lights from direct rock hits, I think I'm done for now, unless I get some other wild idea like have the tank custom painted with dragon wings up each side.........maybe after it gets so sun faded to the point that it needs a redo......until then im happy and proud of how it looks......

No man, I think the white looks killer...kinda like a white Gibson flying V guitar! (one of my favorites). I would like to see some better pics of the white paint job. I can only assume that the quality is excellent... Hopefully they clear coated the piss outta it! |

I wish I could have rode up there, I arrived Friday afternoon to a non functioning A/C unit. repair not coming till Monday and I have a ton of stuff to do to get settled. Have used the bike on a few morning errands though.  |
