I saw the last Jason Bourne opus this afternoon supposedly located in Berlin, Kollwitz Platz. I was there last month, it's not as gloomy as depicted in the movie  Cool

Great pic, thanks  cooldude Were you at the restaurant there? It almost looks like NY used to love sitting out and eating.

Say how is your tank protector holding up?

Yes Robert, I like this restaurant and every time I go to Berlin I manage to eat their Eisbein (pork nuckle) though it's boiled in Berlin and roasted in Munich.  cooldude

Indeed, the square and this restaurant are as pleasant as in NYC (probably more  Wink)  because of the trees, the kindergarten nearby, the whole atmosphere which is incredible in Berlin. Neat, not expensive, relax, how could you ask for more ?

I've changed the tank covering last month, after two winters. I tried the chrome covering, pretending to ride a Guzzi California III (just for the fun of it, I'm not a Guzzi fan at all) but it was PITA to fix it, the chrome covering I used was not as flexible as the brushed aluminium grey I have. Definitely, IMHO the tank of the Valk is much too naked. Unfortunately, I can't remove the glue traces of the ancient covering. I took off the warning stickers on the tank and was not able to remove the glue contours either. This paint comes from China ?  2funny

Use WD40 or a little diesel fuel on a rag, dab it on and let it loosen the glue then wipe clean, the decals on my 14 red look like they were never there. WD40 is a rust penetrant, you may have a different product in France.

How about some more chrome? I think my bike in Berlin would benefit from some chrome side covers  Grin

@Robert, if you wonder how is my tank today, it looks like this :

As you can see, I fixed on the right side of the tank the negative of what is on the left side of the tank (because I cut twice the same pattern for both sides  uglystupid2  2funny).

Sorry for the upside down pic, I don't remember how to fix it  though someone wrote it  Embarrassed
