That would have been me.  He really didn't know.  I went thinking it might have been, but it wasn't.  I did manage to score a set of Kuryakyn tranny covers from him, though!   Quite a character.

Did you get any more info on the tank from him? I noticed Attic Rat is looking for a tank without rust or dents, ad says no dents, but nothing about rust.

That tank is wasted.  No "visible" dents.  The underside is trashed, so I can only assume that the topside has loads of bondo.  The bottom is so wasted, I'd be surprised if it didn't leak.
