I was considering speed bleeders for flushing my brake and clutch lines, but I got to thinking...could I use an inline check valve with barbed fittings midway in the clear plastic tube that slips onto the bleeder valve instead??

There's a guy who uses a speed bleeder as a check valve in his tube that
fits onto his regular bleeder valves, so, I'd guess you have an idea worth
trying....

I have speed bleeders, and find them to work well. When you drain the
whole system, you have to prime the system a little before the speed
bleeders will start doing their thing, but it is not a problem...

Never thought of using a speed bleeder...good plan...so if my idea doesn't work out I can still use the speed bleeder on the bike...I would like to do my truck and car as well if it works.
