Need Some Advice/Input from GA Riders

On Oct 8-11 my girlfriend and I are planning on riding in Georgia. There aren’t any really set in stone plans,but I am looking to most likely ride from Panama City up to Columbus/Macon area on the 8th then head to Savannah on the 9th. From there we will head to the Jacksonville, FL area where we have some friends and will stay the night there on the 10th and head back to PC on the 11th.
I’m hoping that I can get a few suggestions of a few nice roads to ride en-route and/or around those destinations as well as a few suggestions of things to see and places that would be nice to eat at (I saw Tropic Traveler’s post and responses about his trip to Savannah, so those places don’t need to be repeated). Also, if there are some nice smaller towns to stay in around Columbus or Macon I wouldn’t necessarily mind avoiding the cities to stay at a Mom-and-Pop spot.
