Did'nt get to stop in Winslow,Arizona to stand on the corner but I did pass the billboard that claimed  Exit Now " To Stand On The Corner " .Got jerked around yesterday by California and they would'nt let me cross the mountains in to Needles with the over-size load I'm pulling so today pretty much has been a turd hurt just getting back to I-40. Saw some beautiful country today in the Nevada , Arizona mountains.Rollin' out from Holbrook, Arizona first thing in the morning.

Doing good today,no more blood today. No drinking,no caffeine, and no more 3200mg of Ibu a day. Been doing the ibu for the last 20 years for rheumatoid arthritis, guess it finally caught up with me. Oh well I'll have to get on something natural. Hope your enjoying you trip man, wish we could of hooked up,but that's the way work goes man,be cool out there.

Don't worry Joe,as soon as you get Cancer you will quit for good!  My doc told me this two yrs. ago, then walked out of the room and did not return. That's all it took, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I started by just not smoking every other one I automatically put in my mouth. I had to think about it all the time. Keep trying buddy, we b pullin for ya!!! cooldude Smiley

You can do it!  It doesn't matter what anyone tells you or how much support they provide.  It has to be you making the decision and staying with it.  I was smoking a pack a day by the time I was in the 8th grade, and at age 35 finally decided to quit my 3 pack a day habit.  It took two trys, the first time I managed for about 6 weeks, then someone convinced me that just one cigarette with a beer wouldn't hurt, and within a week I was back to 3 packs a day.  Once you put them down just never pick one up again, because you know what will happen.  Best of luck to you, and remember, it's all up to you.  I haven't touched one since 1984, and if I can do it so can you.

Joe, talk to your Dr. and get a prescription for Chantix.  This will make quitting painless.  I could have never stopped with out those pills....I have zero willpower.  Take it for the recommended 3 months and you will have it beat!  Most insurances won't pick up any of the price, but it wasn't anymore expensive than the cigarettes.
After smoking for 35 years, I am smoke free for 1 year 9 months.  Once in a while, the thought of having a cigarette sounds like a good idea, but that feeling passes in less than a minute.  Sometimes I'm around smokers and it smells Great, other times, I have to get away as quickly as possible...I have COPD.
There will be a lot of people pulling for you on your next try. Wink
