I have a set of 4" truck stack's that come out to the end of my interstate bags, they have the stock piggies there seems to be a drone at high way speed that is a little bothersome. If I was to extend the piggies out closer to the end of the truck stack would that tone down the drone noise.

a drone usually means some of the EPA baffles have been drilled through.
contact MarkT, I think he has a setup that adds another set of the OEM small resonators to the piggies.

The "period" is the second key to the left of the "shift" key at the bottom right of the keyboard.  Wink

Period or comma?

Do you have the original stock length piggies left, or are they cut back? The following is what was referred to, to fix cut piggies.

But if it is just the lengthened truck stacks that is causing the drone because the piggies end well within from the end, then there are posts about getting copper pipe and adding it on.

I cut off my "piggies", and drilled through the last two baffles and experienced exactly what you describe; droning.  These solved my problem, and easy to install. . .

I cut my piggies before the bends and then extended them so they stick out of the truck stacks, I like the look better than the piggies lined up and she is super quiet with no drone.

Phil, just ribbing you a bit but never questioning you. More to the point, you've been given good advice on the cause and correction of the drone. If the stack extends well past the piggies it does have a tendency to create an annoying drone, the sound wave kinda bounces around inside the hollow stacks.  cooldude
