On the passenger seat. The 2 front bolts, what size are they. I believe it's a M6 1.00 or 1.25 pitch.
The M6 1.00 doesn't seem to fit right.  I don't think those bolt holes have ever been used. They are very rusty inside the hole.  I can't find a M6 1.25 any where. Tried Ace, Depot n Lowes.

Schematics are often helpful.

Looks like it is part number 24.  .95 each and 11.13 shipping. I don't think so. It looks like it is a 6 x 10.   Maybe it is a 6m 1.00 pitch. I just need to clean out the rusty, gunked up threads.

FWIW I looked @ Ace yesterday for SS versions and none are available but I believe regular one's are available but I didn't check either. And yes they are M6x1.00. A tad of antisieze would be a plus for future maintenence.

Hold up there Aces...

The point Jess is trying to make is you ask for the size, he pointed you to the OEM parts break down for the bike that SHOWS you the bolt sizes.

Nowhere did he say you had to buy them from ProCaliber.

so chill...

Mark, the 1.00 is the pitch. Metrics are usually sized in 1.00 (coarse) and 1.25 (fine).

Ask me how I know.... Wink
