Up until now I've been the only mechanic to touch my bike.
But I've been busy with work, so need a good mechanic.

Any recommendations?
Hopefully someone you trust, and works quick.
Thanks

I don't live there now, but I used to bring my Rune to Hinshaws in Auburn.  It was a long haul for me, but I had heard good things about their service and felt it was worth the drive.

We just had this discussion at our last monthly Vermin Club breakfast meeting. There was a good independent Valk/Wing tech but he has now retired and closed his shop. We mostly do our own work, some have used the local dealers, I have no personal experience with them.

What do you need done? We do have a couple of techy members who have been known to turn wrenches on member bikes.

Glad to see Redline (any Vermin) chime in, since you have to be a member to post on their site. You could always post on the VRCC chapter section for the PNW. http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/board,13.0.html

Also, you might get more help if you add your location to your profile. If you're in Blaine/Bellingham, you might even get some Northern visitors show up for a "BBQ".  Wink

What is it you wish done?

Dusty and Redline,
I've been planning on coming to one of the Vermin meetings, but keep having to work on the weekends.
I bought my 98 standard a few years ago from a Vermin named Danny Lovato (although it's been heavily modded since then.)
I wish I could pay the membership fee via Paypal. I'd join in a minute.
Anyway, I suddenly have an oil leak along the rear case cover. I think the case will have to come off to replace the gasket.

They take cash, check, or even money order, almost anything. I offered my first born, but Redline said there was a limit.  Cheesy
