I think Gary had made these before he passed,
can I use stock replacement bushings with the Progressive's

Mine are not toast yet but I know the 440''s are discontinued

Just thinking about future maintenance as the bike does have over 100k

TIA

Give Progressive a call M-F during their hours. I recall contacting them via phone with good luck.

Had some old 440s with bad bushings.  Ordered replacements from Progressive over the winter.  Before I could install 'em the next spring the 440s started leaking and I went to 444s.  Same bushings as the replacements they'd sent for the discontinued 440s.  Looks like I have a spare set!

I recommend you verify this with Progressive.

BTW, stock bushings won't work with Progressive shocks.

The bushings that came with my 440s are awesome brass
(or something) bushings... they still looked great last
time I had the tire off...

I once asked Progressive for more bushings, and they
sent me an assortment of them, which included the
ones I needed...

Like Mike said, ProgSusp bushings are a whole different animal than OE shock bushings (or aftermarket relacements for OE)(and not interchangable).  I have never heard of PS bushings wearing out.  Mine haven't, going on 10 years (the shocks have leaked, but the bushings remain solid).

When you got new 440 shocks, you got a whole selection of bushings, and if I recall correctly, you use two different ones for left and right sides (on top) with the 440s for valk.

But if yours do wear out, go to Progressive.
