Anybody try this yet? It claims it will work in 5 seconds and the applicator has a UV light to activate the resin. I'm thinking of keeping it in my trunk for emergency repairs.

Was actually just looking at it in a local flyer, on sale for $17.
I wonder how it would do in deep holes? If the UV light doesn't get to it, then how does it harden?
It might work on our broken plastic, only about 2 mm thick.
It was first available As Seen On TV. Now it's with Canadian Tire, so figure everyone has it.

The stuff works fine for relatively easy jobs. It does have to be built up in layers and each layer cured to build thickness. It also seems to have a decent shelf life sitting in my kitchen junk drawer! Doesn't everybody have a kitchen junk drawer?

Bon, we have two....one for me and one for my wife. I don't understand why, but mine's always full.

Organized junk drawers. I took the clear plastic insert from cookie packages. Actually 5 inserts side by side and try to organize my junk. Cuts search time way down.

Mine worked okay to repair the tusk on a decorative elephant. I still think good ol' Gorilla Glue is a lot tougher, but GG requires a cure time and clamping.
The other drawback with this stuff -- the instructions mentioned you can't use it in sunlight because it "activates" (hardens) before you have a chance to apply it. It can even activate in the nozzle so you cant get it out of the bottle.
BTW, the stuff STINKS to high Heaven! Use it in a well ventilated area!

It will probably age out pretty fast kept in the trunk on hot days. From the data sheet: "Recommended storage temperatures: 32 degrees Fahrenheit – 80 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius)."

Saw it demonstrated at a GW meet. Used it to glue a drive belt that was cut and glued. COULD NOT pull it apart!

I have a spare fairing that has the blind nuts cassings cracked and a small chip ( which I have ) broken off the bottom. I am going to try it on it first. I also have a spare seat in leather that has a small rip in it. But I was thinking more like broken sunglasses and the likes or a repair on the road. I wonder if it can fix a screw in the tire. "No" I'm not going to try that on my tire for all those waiting to jump on that statement LOL
