I've rented a vacation home just outside Orlando (Davenport) and have some UK friends coming to visit. I'm also about done with building my custom trailer that will haul the Valks. Translation: My buddy and I will be riding my Valkyries and it would be fun to meet up.

October got some events going on with Biketoberest and the AIM expo. How long is your stay in Davenport?

Would like to do the AIM Expo again. Lesa and I made a nice day out of that one. Someone offered free tickets to it. Sorry I do not remember who that was.

Moof, If you are going to ride to the tip of the Peninsula, you might as well make the trek all the way to Key West. I made the trip on 9/15, all the way from Homosassa, for Peterson's (Miami HD Dealer) Key West Poker Run. 500 miles from my house to Key West. Rode down on Friday, did the full day in Key West on Saturday, and rode back home on Sunday. A suggestion: If you are going to make it a 2 day run, do it on week days, and Depart Key West (or wherever you stay) about 5:00 in the AM. Lots less traffic, and you might get a beautiful Sunrise, like I did. Ride safe.

So close to vacation! This is my home built 2 motorcycle trailer that shall carry my Fat Ladies. Lots of welding and measuring. I still need to get a bit more tongue weight on the front when I get back from the trip, but it handles well at 65 MPH. I might look into upgraded leaf springs or axles in the future, but I don't foresee hauling 2 bikes all the time. It can be setup to haul just 1 in a matter of 15 minutes. Hope to see some of you soon!
