Last week I read a thread from BonS who had taken someone else OEM to LED trunk light conversion to another level and was willing to do the conversion for those in our club.  Well I contacted him and immediately sent the lights  and 1 week later they were back and installed. Unfortunately I had to miss the meeting this morning due to it.   The light output was amazing and now all 4 lights work in unison.  I highly recommend BonS for those interested.  Check out his post for pictures

Hello all,

Randy mentioned that he posted about his LED taillights here so I just want to say Hi! I recently began to upgrade Interstate taillights for others (along with my other Valkyrie oriented products). I usually only post in the main forum but have a special place for Florida as I lived in Winter Park and Florida for 25 years before moving back to the Midwest in search of seasons again.

I certainly didn't invent upgrading the taillights but I will do it for those that simply don't want to do it themselves, don't have the skills or don't want to take the risk. The taillights are "unobtanium" these days as they're no longer available from mother Honda so failure is not an option!

The results are stunning. Here are pics of my IS along with a friends OEM for comparison. Cameras can't deal with the ruby red and intensity of the lights so you'll have to take my word (and Randy's) that the lights are a pure, beautiful ruby red. My web site doesn't offer this upgrade service so you'll have to PM me or call me to discuss or arrange getting yours done.

(And, yes, the green Valk's lights are on.)

The upgrade is $170. This includes all parts and labor.

Well BonS I got my lights mounted back on the IS and must say I'm very pleased. A benefit not expected is that my lights flash about 4 times all in sinc and then full break lights come on!  cooldude oh did I say they are nice and bright?  coolsmiley
Thank ya Thank ya!
