Mine is coming up on 10 years too. However it was 10 years this month that I first saw it in the local Honda shop. I waited 6 months before pulling the trigger. Haven't regretted one minute of ownership, has always been ready to go.

Sorry for the poor lighting.

My wife and I were standing beside our ten year old Valk I/S in Sturgis (not during the rally) Two wing riders pulled up. One of them asked me if my bike was a new model from Honda for this year. made us feel kind of proud. The valk seems almost timeless.

Mine will be 10 in a month (since I bought it). This past weekend, I was asked by a couple harley riders what year, I said a 99 and they thought it was brand new...

Here's my 1998, she's 11 almost 12. 89K miles.

Not a scratch on her, she purrs like a kitten when she isn't screaming like a Valkyrie.

Love the looks of these sweet tourers.

10 years old!.. really..maybe  you should  consider pulling the plug on the old lady. I mean after all ,shes  probably only putin out about 98 hp at the rear wheel these days ,and  she barley could get through the quarter mile  in less then about 12.5 seconds. lucky if she got another 100 k miles left in her, maybe ya should get you one of them 32k hd's and park it outside the dinner and just admire it....lol

You keep her very nice Werner cooldude Nice job maintaining her. Can you still find those tank emblems easily in Germany??? I like those, that would make mine a little differant from everyone elses here in the U.S.A.

All beautiful bikes..... just beautiful.

Super Valk that I/S for a Tourer look.   I'm hoping to do that Mod this winter....

Mine is a 99, so that makes her 10yo as well.  I adopted her 3 years ago.

I've got an original 1997 Bumblebee. Still looking good. One thing about the Valk is it was designed with "classic" 1940s-50s styling clues. Twenty years from now it still will look like a classic 50s bike and so it will never be dated.
