When it's parked amongst the "Avenue of the Giants"

Taken on my trip back from Portland, Oregon to Home in the Central Coast of California.  This is in Humboldt, CA right off Highway 101.  If you're ever in the area, don't miss this.  Absolutely amazing, this forest of GIANTS!

Way cool Bro!! When we were in California, Muir Woods blew me away with the sheer magnitude of the trees! Awesome pictures thanks!

PS I guess I don't make the Valk look that small!

And if you want to know why those trees are still standing to serve as a background for photos, check out Ken Burns' documentary series on the National Parks currently showing on PBS.

The "Avenue" is my home turf.  Happy to know you were impressed.  When "Rebyl" from down-under was here a couple years ago we spent some time in that area.  I dropped him at a cabin in the woods where he waited for a couple of days for the rest of his tour group to show up from New Zealand.
