Hey Brian, i just could not live with the Bates bags i had on the bike. I bought a set of Interstate bags and was wondering about hinges. Did you change yours. I also put a interstate seat on, i really like the seat and so does Nicky.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Cool, you gonna paint them?
I changed mine to the Interstate hinges. I didn't use any of the hanger wire stuff. When I undo my lid i take it off and lay it on the seat. I like to do it this way because if I have stuff strapped to the rack I don't have to worry about hanging all the weight. I can just pick it up and lay it on the seat.

I'm thinking of Oct 17-18 and ride around Brown Co and such. If your open, we can meet up. Still working out details with my HD buds. Let ya know soon.

hey Fudgie,  I took the wife this summer to Brown County. We were visiting my Mom in Indianapolis, and we all went there for the day. It"s a great little town for the women to shop. I sat down on a bench and there was this older gentleman sitting next to me. I told him I thought I may have lost my wife, he laughed and told me he had lost a wife there years earlier,  yep he said.... her husband came & got her. LOL.
