2001 Standard / Well not so Standard anymore.

Is there any differences in stock Standard & Tourer shocks?
I do believe the Interstate shocks thou are a heavy duty shock.  Roll Eyes

to add I/S shock also has different rebound damping.
using the I/S allows less spring pre-load to be used which helps to reduce stiction thereby giving smoother operation and a ride.

After my first long trip with the wife and all the gear, I wanted to upgrade my stock tourer shocks.

Got some great advice on here to find some low mile used Interstate shocks. Got some from a member, great upgrade. No more bottoming out 2-up and I've only got them set on 3. Had to have my others on 5.
