I have broken my right front turn assembly. Do I have to remove the fairing to replace it? I just need some tips on how to replace it.. Thanks Wayne from Florida.

I believe you need to remove the speaker trim. But be careful if the screws are seized to the nut inserts you will need to pry up under the trim at the inserts as you unscrew it. If the inserts do come out use some loctite epoxy. Use some anti seize on the threads. before reassembly.

I'm sure the fairing will have to come off.  One of the fairing mounting brackets are incorporated into the turn signals.

Let me put it this way.  You might be able to deal with it by just removing the speaker panel, but removing the fairing will make the job easier.

Yes do yourself a huge favor and go ahead and remove the fairing, that way you won't throw a hammer through a window in frustration! LOL
