Went over yesterday morning real quiet at the Harley place and at the track, the vendor were expecting low turnouts as they said there were ten or twelve big hotels that were still closed, that sucks for them, but I did spot a couple of valks though, nice day for a ride!

Biketoberfest is always a lower turn out than Bikeweek.
Lots of vendors do not want the expenses incurred for only one weekend of sales as opposed to Bikeweek's two weekend event.
On top of everything, like you said, some places are still closed after the storm including some parts of A1A.

I will be heading over to the AIM Expo tomorrow morning

seen more bikes out today, tomorrow should be the busiest.  Jack is right, this usually isn't as crowded and less vendors every yr come.  over the yrs most of the action moved up to Ormond Beach.
we're heading south for sloppy joes & ice cream lunch tomorrow.   Smiley  not sure if we'll go to the track before or after, but not Ormond.
have a good time if you come over this way, be safe.   Kiss coolsmiley

I'll be at the Cabbage Patch about 11 a.m. tomorrow for the coleslaw wrestling at noon. Not sure how i got talked into this but it is what it is.   Roll Eyes   I also heard that parts of the Loop ride still has 7 to 10 inches of water over the road.

Kim & I will be riding over to Rossmeyers tomorrow. We go kind of early to beat the pirates recovering from their Friday night rum hangovers.  Shocked Shocked
We like to eat lunch at Houligans & if we get there early enough we may score a parking spot at the restaurant. Might ride over to the beach afterward to see how well the storm recovery is going. Regardless we will be home before 3:30 to watch the Seminoles on TV!  cooldude

Went to Biketoberfest today and there were tons of bikes, a lot of vendors J&P cycle had a clearance  area with really great deals. Had a great day cooldude the guy working for ultimate seats had his
two tone Tourer there, very clean bike with only 24000 miles all stock accept for the seats. Said he is a member of VRCC. Smiley got lucky with the rain only one quick light rain that lasted about 5 minutes Cool

We woke up to rain at the cottage and it would stop and start many times.  Would have liked to go with you Jack but we had so many things to do there anyway, and I am working on the 1800 installing USB charge ports and a ATV phone holder and extra home made supports for the rear carrier to accept a very large bag.  Getting back into painting a bit as well using Sherwinn Williams catalyzed auto paint, I want to shoot the extra Champion bags I bought soon.  I got the deal this past week. A contractor that has been working at the Van Weeze had a nice motorcycle ramp he did not need.  He just wanted a six pack in return.  Holds 1500lbs.   cooldude

We went yesterday as planned. Scored our good parking spots at Houligan's thanks to Kim's navigation skills through the crowds. Bought a bike to bike intercom system while we were there, works great! Caught a little rain heading home west on 40 but not bad.
That sweet burgandy & cream '98 Tourer belongs to the young man from Ultimate. Noticed no Valkyrie seat display at the tent.  Sad   Had a good ride & made it home in time to catch our games!

Getting my new seat at Ultimate a couple months ago.
