I used it for 150K miles but heard some some chatter about Mobil 1 changing additives.

I am still using it.  No ill effects.  The bottle I have (and recently purchased) still does not say Energy Conserving on the back of the bottle.

I've used it from the beginning, 52000 miles ago, including the latest gray top jug, put it in my interstate when I got it last year also.  Much quieter than what the po had in it.  IMHO, it's still the best.  Hoser  cooldude

Same here, grey cap, no energy conserving label.  Motor and tranny running quietly and smoothly.

Pretty hard to argue with 150k but many use Shell Rotella Syn from Walmart.

I use Rotella T 5w40 in wife's Magna and my Shadow VLX.  I had it in the Valk, too,  and Amsoil but, like you say, it's hard to argue with good service.

I know it's off topic but I don't buy anything from Walmart that I can get somewhere else Wink

3 Lawn mowers - oldest one is 12 years old, youngest is 5 years old
2 Garden tractors - 9 seasons total on both machines

Shoot, RJ,  Mobil ought to kick in a case, every once in a while, or, at least, put your picture on the bottle.  Smiley

Triumph recommends the Mobil 1 15W50 4T for the Rocket 3 with a 10,000 mile  Shocked change interval.
Must be good stuff!
