I'm about to do my wheel bearings so today I bought a blind-hole bearing puller set.  This lets you pull the bearings from the outside of the wheel instead of driving them out from the inside.

So...it's available for future wrench parties if it's needed.

Thank you for your generosity, Valkpilot.  Did you buy bearings from Honda or somewhere else?

I got the AllBalls bearing sets, which come with the seals, for both wheels.  The rear set I ordered through Denton Cycle Center Honda along with new o-rings and thrust washer.  After thinking about it awhile, I went ahead and ordered the fronts online from www.goallballs.com  $30 for the rear set, $17 for the fronts.  Probably less than 1/2 the cost of OEM since dealer price on the 5204 on the rear is $65 by itself.  For the price, you could replace 'em every 20k miles if you felt like it.

There's a slight hitch in the get-along when I lean left and a faint squeak with the rear brake applied, plus that left rear bearing felt slightly rough last week when I had it all torn down, so I'm going to do them all as a preventative act.

Changed the rear bearings today.  It rides like a new bike.  I didn't realize how much the old bearings were influencing the ride.
