Does anyone in the Houston area want to ride out to Leakey together?

I am planning on departing around 7:00 and taking mostly NON-Interstate in my trip.

What route are you taking?  90 most of the way?

(I'm thinking I won't make it to your neck of the woods by 7 AM)

90 to Luling, I-10 to 1604 (around S.A.), 16 up to Medina, 337 over to Leakey.

How would you go?  Family with you or not?

I can drag my feet some.  Just wanting to get on the road.

If you take freeways, could you make Sealy (Hiway 36) around 8-9?  I could run up that way then take you back down to 90.

I like to think I am a little flexible.

I'm coming from Seabrook, and will not have the girls with me on Friday.  If you're going 90, it doesn't make sense for you to run up to Sealey, because I would normally go out 90 myself, passing through Missouri City (roughly) anyway.  Sealey at 8-9 doesn't gain me any morning sleep over MO City at 7ish.  Let me see how tomorrow goes, and we'll chat later on whether you should wait for me or not.

THis was the route I was considering, although I don't know much about these roads past Gonzales, it's a different route than I've taken before, so I'm interested:

My planned route is under 300 miles and under 5 hours.

IF you would normally plan on 90 we could meet at Shell station (blinking red light) at intersection in East Bernard.  Also has a McD's if you like that, or there is a Buckee's (small one) in Eagle Lake.

8 - 9 would not make a big difference to me if you wish to join up.  If not, see you in Leakey.
