I made it back home about a half hour ago.  Stephanie went to Austin to pick up the girls from her parents' house, and had a tire blowout on the car before she could get there.  Some kind gentlemen on the road helped her change to the spare, and  Walmart put a new tire on in very short order.  She's safe and the in Austin preparing to to leave now.

Glad she made it. She has a new tire. You have a new alternator. EarlyBird has a new name.

Back at the house in DFW. 1000 miles worth of fun this weekend. Good to see everyone.

Also glad that Stephanie is OK and that Ray's mishap wasn't worse.

And I did not make the picture.  Bummer.  Must have been after I headed for the shower or bed.

So be it.  Great time and great friends.

Folks were asking about my handle on the Ride-In weekend, when I mentioned that I didn't seem to have one the conversation drifted off in another direction.

I've updated this forum with a handle that was given to be many, many years ago. I guess it will do until I earn one from the terrific group known as the VRCC.

Bettina and I (Mark Luketic) had a great get-away weekend, even though we had to take the Gold Wing instead of a Valkyrie and Buster (our precious Chihuahua mix) was on vacation in the Wag More Pet Resort.

Glad that everyone made it home, especially Super Santa.  Smiley

I second that.  It was good to have someone from Colorado down to visit us.  I hope we were able to show you a good Texas time.
