Okay now I have both fake exhaust tubes that have been drilled and exiting gases.

Your thoughts?? I will try to get a better video later. It actually sounds better in person than this recording. Either way no am happy for now. May make some changes over the winter.

No cigar for that sound. Stock sounds better.

The two fake pipes do not extend all the way to the chamber. The holes you drilled have about a 1/2" space that is now venting sound and gas into chamber behind the 3 tip plate. You might be able to improve the sound by closing those gaps. I also know that one of those holes you drilled would be bypassing the inner chamber. Watch for changes in fuel mileage and performance due to the back pressure drop.

Still averaging 40 mpg and not real noticibal power loss that I can tell. I am sure there is much less backpressure loss than putting Cobras or my next change in place. Over the winter my plan is to gut the stock exhaust and put some glass packs in.

I admire your experimentation but the sound needs to be mellowed a bit. If you could pack some fiberglass or steel wool in the muffler itself it may make give the exhaust a deeper note. For me it sounds a bit raspy and needs to have a mellower tone.

Like stated before I will try to take a different recording. Possibly tomorrow if I ride to work. Then again it may never sound the way you all want since it is a recording LOL

Its been 10 months since your mod. Anything that you would change? Do you still like it? Do you still have this set up? What exactly did you end up with (hole sizes). Thinking of drilling mine out.
Thanks

Still love the sound given by this mod. I honestly thing it has gotten a deeper tone as time has worn on. obviously sound quality in the video is only as good as the device doing the recording, so in person is the best representation of any exhaust.

I ended up with 1" holes in ALL the piggies that run straight into the main exhaust chamber. I would not change a thing since the OEM pipes will look better for far longer than any aftermarket that is NOT available for this bike.

One of the first things that drew me to the F6C. That Porsche like growl from stock pipes. Very quiet on highway, nice growl upon acceleration. I think Honda got it right! Not to mention, any change to pipes will result in poor mpg.

I put on a set of Rush pipes with Torq Loopz and mine now sounds like a Ferrari.  Fuel mileage is great as well.  I think I am getting better mileage now then when I had the OEM pipes on.

Bscive. Do the long mufflers hit anything such as a deep dip? I know they aren't really for the F6c. Any sound videos available

The only thing I have hit with them is a curb from backing up the bike to close to it.   uglystupid2

I have never had any issues coming out of steep driveways or, going into steep driveways.  Lots of clearance

Do not tighten up anything until you have the mufflers positioned the way you want them.  You also need to make sure that the heat shields are position correctly.  Tighten up the muffler bolts first and then tighten up the clamps on the Torq Loopz.

Take your time when doing the installation and don't set up only one side and then try to match the other side.  Both sides need to be set up at the same time to make sure the pipes are even.

I drilled out the blocked tubes 1" thru first wall. Did you drill thru the second wall?
Thanks

I just found your first video saying to drill thru the second plate.
